Its that time of the year again for our first work party,
Date - Saturday 28th March 2026 @09.30
At the moment we have 10 people registered for the work part which unfortunately is not a good sign of folk buying into looking after our angling community, every bit counts ,even doing a bit of weeding at your peg when you visit, we will have paint and brushes available in the greenhouse for anyone to use for painting the stands if they cant make the 28th of March. These will be available from Monday the 23rd of March.
If we all do a little bit it will make life a lot easier for the regular volunteers.
We hope to get a good bit of work done to see us through the summer months to include -
Weeding.
Painting of stands ( these will be power washed well before the day of painting).
Some pruning and planting.
Drainage works at the gate.
Lane works ( approach to Fishery Gate only )
Hope to see you then ? Tea/coffee and a burger for the grafters who turn up :)
The fishery won't be closed but please be aware of disruptions , i.e. - being asked to move and some noise.
