NICCA Beechhill Event Rules

Positions will be based on weight caught. There will be end of event awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. League points/Golden Reel points will be displayed in cabin by match secretary and updated during monthly meetings.

Methods: Feeder, Float, Ledger, Pole or Whip (Bait as per Fishery rules).

All bags will be weighed using certified club scales only and a weigh net/sling at the end of the session by the designated Stewards.

Weigh-ins will be closed with weights and points being disclosed at end of weigh-ins in a group format. Everyone is to stay on their

own stand during the weigh-ins.

2 pre-named Stewards maximum per event.

All anglers must be booked in before arriving onsite. All stand selections will be decided by draw. Dipping of nets must be completed

and dip ticket given to Competition Secretary no later than 08:30. Draw will be by order of presenting DIP ticket. NO DIP NO DRAW.

Briefing will be at 08:30 with draw taking place between 08:45 and 9:00am only unless otherwise stipulated.

Everyone must be in possession of suitable unhooking equipment and a Carp friendly landing net. Closed mesh Carp friendly keepnets

only may be used. Minimum of 2 Keepnets must be used.

During matches anyone leaving their peg must bring in their line. All anglers must remain on their own stand with exception of toilet

breaks or breakages.

Entry fees will be payable in advance at time of registration. Entry will be first 18 people to complete payment. Entry fees will go

towards event costs and awards.

Only one line allowed in the water at any one time. No fishing outside of swim. I.E half a stand to your left or right.

Anyone requiring to leave during a match must inform a Steward who will assist in packing up with least disturbance as possible.

Keepnets must be kept in the water and not emptied out until after “all out” is called. Arrangements must be made with a steward to

have nets emptied and collected at a later date convenient to the steward.

Any protests must be lodged with either a steward or Competition secretary in writing prior to leaving site or alternatively submitted

(Written or Electronic) to the  Secretary within 7 days of the round finishing at secretary@nicca.org.uk

All other NICCA governance will always apply.

Penalties:

1. Use of non-conforming baits or anything deemed as gaining and unfair advantage – Disqualified

ALL NETS MUST BE DIPPED. NO DIP NO DRAW
