Greyabbey and St Mary's Primary in Comber will be visiting with Council Education officer next Tuesday morning. This is another round of the very successful "Urban Samurai" project we trialed last year. The kids arrive at 0930 and given an introduction by the council. Stevie then takes a short lesson on how the fishery works and how we strive for fish welfare. The group then splits and one lot will stay with Council Education Officer, and one group will head to pond. Prior to fishing they will do a short lesson on different fishing baits with the NICCA coaches. It then only really leaves about 30-40mins for quick bit of fishing. The groups then swap and go through the same process. This is just a very quick visit as the kids need to be back home for lunch. If we were to arrive at 9am that would be plenty of time for setup and we should all be away shortly after 1230. Volunteers needed to help out with the 2 short fishing sessions on the pond.
